VISION

Axesor was founded in Granada and this is where the corporate headquarters is situated. In 2001 a new axesor building was inaugurated in Armilla, a municipal of Granada.

The start up of axesor coincided with the take off of the commercialisation of internet in Spain, and soon axesor was converted into the absolute role model for the e-commerce business within the Spanish speaking world.

From the beginning axesor chose a very stable and advanced business model resulting in a steady and sustained growth which again has led to the opening of offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia and later in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

ONE OF THE TOP 100 COMPANIES IN EUROPE

The importance of axesor as a point of reference within the information technology industry and business information industry was recognised by Tornado Insider, one of the main international medias dealing with the high-tech sector in Europe, by including axesor as the only Spanish company in the top 100 ranking of the companies within the high tech-sector.

According to the Tornado Insider Magazine the 100 list features the “100 most promising and innovative emerging private tech companies in Europe and Israel” and “the digital future of high-tech Europe”.

Tornado Insider underlined that the “selection criteria favoured companies that have clearly demonstrated both visionary ideas and down-to-earth business plans”.

The international recognition of axesor was not only endorsed by the Magazine, but also by highly recognised observers within the industry working for Merrill Lynch International, Gartner Group, ETF Group and Lexmark.

HUMAN RESSOURCES

In axesor there are no employees dedicated to mechanic data processing. To carry out that task we have machines. However, we do have about 100 members of our team whose function is to clean, analyse, verify and improve the work done by the vast potential of our computers.

31 years is the average age of the almost 200 people working for axesor in Spain within the sectors of production, administration, marketing, sales, and technology and a further 70 people are working in our office in Buenos Aires in Argentina.

All our employees have full access to the internet without any form of restrictions and control, except for the derivatives from the typical computer security measures which guarantees access to all means necessary to carry out their job.

About 48 percent of our staff have found their first job in axesor and we are satisfied to acknowledge that 98 percent of our trainees stay with us after the end of the training period.

95 percent of our staff are technicians and graduates, mainly from the areas of Management, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

DATA PROCESSING

Neither the computers which process the information, the persons who control it nor the lines which spread it via internet to more than 50.000 clients have much time to rest.

Every day we carefully select about 1000 relevant news clippings on Spanish companies, we read and classify the provisions of 15 official bulletins, we control about 600 licitations and process almost 100 public bulletins in order to extract the possible contracts and subsidies which can be useful for those who entrust us with part of the expansion of their business.

Only with respect to BORME (the official Bulletin of the Mercantile Registry) we process everyday about 2.000 registrations, close to 3.000 annual accounts and between 200 to 500 announcements.

Furthermore in accordance with our motto about saving time and money for our clients we transact official documents on behalf of our clients through internet. We process about 500 documents per day, that is, 14.000 documents pr. month. We like to think that meanwhile our clients are drinking a cop of coffee in their offices dedicating themselves to more profitable activities than the derivative of the bureaucracy.

TECHNOLOGICAL RESSOURCES

As one of the leading suppliers of Spanish corporate information it is necessary to use state of the art technology to reach our client and satisfy their needs, therefore, axesor is also one of the leading high-tech companies.

Our computers now store more than 500 gigabytes data and we have another 500 gigabytes ready when needed. Our servers are machines with high potential bi processors and tetra processors which communicate with the company’s intranet through 20 kilometres of UTP cable, category 6 and with our clients through a strip width of 2 megabyte, enough to serve the requests of more than 1000 clients pr. second through internet.

We dispose of all kinds of redundancies so should it happen that a system fails, a backup system will take over immediately. This includes the internet transmission and the electric current. Anyway, and just in case, our technicians have designed an automatic alert system, which in case of a system failure during the night, sends a message to their mobile phones immediately.
